Dear Space Renaissance Friends and Supporters,
next week will see a very intense activism by SRI and our allies! The Space 18th SDG Coalition, at little more than one year from its foundation, includes now 100 organizations and is working increasingly at the U.N. (UNOOSA/COPUOS) and toward the worldwide society. We are proud to announce two upcoming events:
Episode 1. "A Space 18th SDG for the Future" Hybrid Workshop
The 19 September 2024, 9 am – 6:30 pm (US EST), a hybrid whole-day Workshop, at U.N. Plaza 777, NYC, with more than 30 speakers and panelists, including Frank White, Bob Zubrin, Rick Tumlinson, and many others. Episode 2. "A Space 18th SDG for the Future" Side Event at U.N. Summit of the Future
The Side Event will be on the 20 September, at 11:00 am, on the premises kindly offered by the Consulate General of Jamaica, 300 E 42nd St, New York, NY 10017, United States.
During the 75 minutes Mixer Event Press Conference, Adriano V. Autino (Space Renaissance International) and other representatives of the Space 18th SDG Coalition, will present the recommendations from the preceding day-long Workshop, on the following themes: 1. Critical Review of the Space 2030 Agenda, 2. Space for Peace, 3. Space for Sustainable Economic and Social Growth, 4. Space for Young Generations, 5. Space for Earth's Environment and Sustainable Development.
